Hi-Tech Energy Windows Ltd. guarantees the highest quality products and supports our customers with a commitment to after sales service.

1. Products manufactured by Hi-Tech Energy Windows are warranted against defective material and workmanship, occurring as a direct result of our manufacturing process. Hi-Tech Energy Windows is responsible for replacing; free of charge, any defective material for the duration of the warranty period. Warranty is as follows:
  • 25-year non-prorated transferable warranty on all PVC components;
  • 25-year non-prorated transferable warranty on insulating glass when purchased in a Hi-Tech PVC frame;
  • 10-year non-prorated transferable manufacturers warranty on hardware;
  • 25-year non-prorated transferable warranty on service labour within our service area;
  • warranty is effective once the unit has been installed in it's original location

It is important that all product be thoroughly inspected and checked for quality and conformance to that ordered prior to acceptance from Hi-Tech Energy Windows Ltd. and installation in the customer's home. The cost of correcting a problem before installation is minimal compared to the cost once the produce has been installed.

2. The Dealer is responsible for the proper installation in the customer's home. This installation includes the application of perimeter insulation and caulking to ensure a weather-tight and water-tight installation, according to the National Code. Should minor adjustments in operation of the product be required, it is the Dealer's responsibility to make these on-site adjustments.


3. The Dealer is responsible for fully checking out any complaint reported to him. Should the inspection reveal that minor adjustment to the product is required, or that the installation is at fault, the Dealer is responsible for making the necessary correction. Where the problem is one of faulty workmanship or material, that is not apparent at the time of acceptance of the product, it is Hi-Tech Energy Windows' responsibility to take the necessary corrective action.

4. Service work will only be carried out upon receipt of a Hi-Tech Energy Windows service request form completed by the Dealer with all required information.
In order to minimize the cost of service calls, and to eliminate those service requests that are not the responsibility of Hi-tech Energy Windows, the following steps have been instituted:

5. The Dealer is subject to a service fee should the problem be installation or product adjustment and is not deemed the responsibility of Hi-Tech Energy Windows Ltd.

6. Service work will not be carried out where an account is not adhering to our payment terms.
