At Hi-Tech Energy Windows, all of our window and entry door systems are made in Manitoba and designed specifically for our hot summers and harsh prairie winters. Our PVC frames are of our own design and have all been developed post 2001 utilizing the most advanced window technology available.
The Hi-Tech frame is designed to provide optimum insulation and rigidity. The multiple chambers in our frames greatly increase energy efficiency and reduce sound transmission. Multiple chambers are built into every Hi-Tech window frame and have been designed stop the transfer of heat and cold. Each chamber slows this transfer and keeps the warmth inside and the cold out.
The number of chambers within the PVC frame is important, but as important is the configuration and thickness of the chamber walls. Hi-Tech's heavy frame extrusion is designed to carry the load of today’s heavier Triple Glazed windows.
To ensure long-term performance; all of our PVC components are fusion welded on a 4-point welder. The 4-point welder is critical in maintaining a perfectly square finished product. This process guarantees that the frame and sash will fit together as designed and will provide the best performance as a result.
The PVC that we use is brilliant white; the benefit of this is an ultra clean looking window that does not contaminate or change other colours that are used in conjunction with it.
Co-extruded (integral) gasket seals provide long-term protection from the elements and produce a seal that is virtually impenetrable to the outer elements.
Our deep frame allows us to set our sealed units further inside to dramatically reduce air infiltration and the risk of condensation.
Adjustable hardware increases the ease of installation and ensures optimal fine tuned performance from your new windows.
Variable jamb widths are available from 3 1/4” to over 12” allowing us to accommodate “hard to fit” wall thicknesses. Our standard jamb sizes are 4 1/2", 5 1/2", and 6 1/2".
Flanged screen bar prevents bugs from entering through gaps on edges of traditional screens.
Products that qualify for the ENERGY STARmark have been independently tested and certified to be among the most energy-efficient on the market, so installing them in your home will reduce your energy consumption and save you money.
